On these living and breathing chess table it takes more than just the simple rules of chess to win. You move your creatures and face your enemy monsters in a fantasy field. The field resembles the chess square field where some squares are light and some are dark. You can kill your enemies by holding them until the colour of the square matches the colour of your enemy. So light unit will remain until the field squares all become a light. You can teleport friendly unit to any square you want. If one of your units died that doesn't mean they've gone for good. You can bring back your dead unit from the graveyard by placing the reviving spell on one square. You can invert the colour and the direction of the light cycle. So if the cycle direction was toward the darkness, it'll go toward the light. There are some special units from golems and hulks which have enormous power.
