Like riding horses but it's raining outside! You can still take a ride. Get on your horse and prepare yourself to the "Horse Racing Competition". You must get through the twelve races in either first or second position in order to reach the legendary Grand National. You can choose from four horses and four jockeys. You'll face different types of fences. You'll need to jump these without touching the fence or you'll be penalized. Some fences do not cover the whole width of the track, when approaching them try to be in-line in order to make the jumps. Arrows will appear on screen to help guide you. If penalized three times you will be disqualified from the game. The approaching jumps will be indicated by icons that appear to the right of the screen displaying the fence type and distance left to reach it. Water hurdles will be encountered along the way, missing these will not lose you points but will substantially reduce the speed of your horse. The game will save your races automatically so that you don't have to start always from the beginning. So each time you quit your level will be saved and you can later continue automatically from where you have left. You don't need to control the speed of the horse, so please concentrate more on getting over the approaching fences. The jump will take place on releasing the key. If a fence is approaching try to press this key some time beforehand. To choose the height of the jump you must press the jump button when the arrow on the bar reaches the level of the jump that you want your horse to take. The changing colour of the bar indicates how high your jump will be for each fence. Key Controls: Speed can be decreased by pressing left "4". With keys up"2"and down"8" you can move vertically. Press select "5" to jump. The longer you press the higher the jump.
